
Idea Hatch Media is a concept-to-completion 1-man production house of multimedia, specializing in 2 and 2 1/2 animation and digital illustration.
Founder Richard Cunningham has been producing movies and original music for the last 20 years. He's worked under many alias's: DemCunn Productions, Hot Press Films, Mad Scientist Productions. With his latest brainchild, Idea Hatch Media, he continues to company his passion for storytelling, while offering freelance animation services focused on professionalism, quality, and reliability.
In 2011, he finished producing and directing his first animated film, "Year Zero", which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. Later that year he was invited to Alaska, by the Anchorage International Film Festival and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, to develop and instruct the workshop, “Storytelling Through Animation: And Doing It On the Cheap". He has since contributed to the book, "How to Make Movies: Low-Budget/No-Budget Indie Experts Tell All". His animation line-up includes the noir sci-fi, "A Clean Break", "Falling To Sheep" and "Dead Man Walking", a multimedia project depicting racial tensions in 1930s Harlem.
